Terms of service

Last updated: July 2026

This document is complete and maintained, but has not yet had external legal counsel review. It will be re-issued after review; material changes will be notified.

VenueDeck is an independent platform and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or an official partner of EposNow. EposNow is a trademark of its respective owner.

Who you are contracting with

VenueDeck is a product and trading name of JP Tech Group Ltd (registered as JPTECHGROUP LTD), a company registered in England and Wales (company number 11968503, registered office 28b Theydon Road, London, England, E5 9NA).

These terms govern your use of VenueDeck as a venue operator. All contracts are formed with, and all billing is by, JP Tech Group Ltd. By creating an account or subscribing you accept these terms on behalf of your business.

The service

VenueDeck provides digital menus and catalogues, ordering, self-checkout kiosk software, hosted venue websites, an orders dashboard, kitchen and collection screens, and related tools, delivered as a subscription service. We develop the service continuously; features may be added or improved over time. Optional integrations (for example EposNow till sync) depend on the third-party service being available to you and are provided as-is with respect to that third party.

We aim for the service to be available at all times but do not guarantee uninterrupted availability. Customer-facing menus are built to keep working offline once loaded.

Plans and billing

The free plan (Catalogue Free) covers one venue with up to 100 products and a QR menu carrying a "Powered by VenueDeck" badge, at no charge and with no payment details required.

Paid subscriptions are priced per venue per month, exclusive of VAT (VAT is itemised on invoices): Catalogue Pro at £12 per month (or £108 per year - about £9 per month effective - when billed annually), the Ordering module at £19 per month, the Website module at £49 per month, and Self-Checkout at £49 per month per kiosk device. Kiosk hardware is a separate one-off purchase. Screens and kitchen printing are included with Ordering or Self-Checkout under fair use (up to 5 screens and 2 printers per venue); beyond fair use a per-device charge may apply. AI image generation carries a monthly allowance with purchasable credit packs; purchased credits do not expire.

Your organisation receives one consolidated invoice, itemised per venue and module. Prices may change with at least 30 days notice, taking effect from your next billing period.

Trials, renewal and cancellation

Your organisation's first paid subscription starts with a 14-day free trial; cancel during the trial and you pay nothing.

Monthly plans renew each month; annual plans renew each year (annual billing is equivalent to 2 months free). You can cancel anytime from the admin console: your subscription then runs to the end of the period you have paid for and does not renew. Except where the law requires otherwise, we do not give partial refunds for unused time.

If a payment fails we retry it and email you during a grace period. If it still fails, paid modules pause and the account downgrades to the free plan - your public menu is never taken offline and no data is deleted. Reactivation is instant once payment succeeds.

Payment processing for your customers

Card payments taken from your customers run through the payment provider you configure (for example Dojo, PAX, Blink or Stripe) or through VenueDeck payments. Per-transaction rates for VenueDeck payments are set out in your dashboard and agreement. Where you use your own provider, that provider's terms apply to the payments themselves and funds flow directly to you.

Your data

Your menu, catalogue, pricing, customer and order data belong to you. You can export your data at any time from the admin console, including after a downgrade. If you close your account entirely, we keep your data exportable for a reasonable wind-down period and then delete it, subject to our legal retention obligations.

Acceptable use

You must only use VenueDeck for lawful trading. You are responsible for the accuracy of your menu and pricing, for food information you are legally required to give your customers (including allergen information), and for the rights to any content and images you upload. You must not attempt to breach the service's security, resell access, or use the platform to send spam. We may suspend accounts that put the service or other venues at risk, and will tell you why.

Intellectual property

We own the VenueDeck software, design and branding; you own your content. You give us the licence we need to host and display your content in order to run the service, and nothing more. AI-generated images created in your account are yours to use in connection with your business.

Liability

Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law (including for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or fraud). Otherwise, our total liability in any 12-month period is limited to the fees you paid us in that period, and we are not liable for indirect losses such as lost profits or lost data that you could have exported. The service is provided for business use; you are responsible for compliance with the regulations that apply to your venue.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms as the service evolves. For material changes we will give operators at least 30 days notice by email; continuing to use the service after the change takes effect means you accept the updated terms. If you do not accept them you can cancel as described above.

Governing law and contact

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction. Questions about these terms: [email protected]. Privacy: [email protected]. Press: [email protected]. Post: the registered office above.
